“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark recommended by Visit England to signal that a business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
Although all the businesses that are open in Topsham are stringently following government guidelines, many have signed up to the additional “We’re Good To Go” stamp of approval. The number of businesses involved is growing every day.
This initiative, strongly supported by Exeter’s tourism and marketing service, Visit Exeter is a bid to help build confidence for locals and visitors to get back to the high street.
Local resident, Jane Greenslade said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed shopping and eating out in town again, and feel extremely safe. New methods have been seamless and we’ve been greeted with huge welcoming smiles. It’s great to see the town coming back into full swing just in time for Summer.”
