Welcome to Love Topsham
Love Topsham was created in 2017 by volunteers wanting to keep the town a special place – we want to work together to protect, safeguard and celebrate all that which makes Topsham unique. Our successes have included putting the sparkle into the town’s Christmas Lights, holding tea parties and ‘new resident’ meetings, highlighting our huge numbers of independent businesses, encouraging people to join Topsham’s clubs and associations, and working with local charities and good causes during the pandemic.
2022 – Topsham needs YOU!
Now after more than four years, and having established ourselves as a non-profit making Community Interest Company, Love Topsham wants to become an even more community-focussed operation, supporting residents and businesses thrive. We aim to work with existing groups to publicise and complement their work; to keep Topsham ‘on the map’ as a leading entertainment, shopping and foodie destination; and to create new events to celebrate all that’s good about our estuary town.
And this is where YOU come in!
We are looking for volunteers of all kinds. Whether you’re happy to give an hour a month or a day a week, whether you want to put up the occasional sign or lead a project team, you are our kind of volunteer! That applies to the many newcomers to Topsham as well as old hands. If you are interested please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s talk!
The Love Topsham Card – raising money for our work
The Love Topsham Card has been created as a fundraising vehicle for the LT team to promote the town online and in print, support local events and put on its own activities to build community spirit and connection. Please do support our work and read more about our Card and the exclusive offers it opens up to you as a Cardholder.
As we’re a transparent Community Interest Company, do please check out our audited Love Topsham CIC accounts here on the government’s Companies House website. And if you have any feedback or would like to contribute in any way, please do contact the Site Editor here.
