With outdoor dining and a vast range of takeaways we’ve shown the new normal can be really rather special, and safe. Now we’re talking with traders and residents to see how we can continue this into autumn, coping with social distancing during more difficult weather; please check www.lovetopsham.co.uk for the latest news. The most obvious new feature in town is the Topsham [...]

Topsham – We’re Good To Go!

By |2020-08-04T16:03:15+01:00July 9th, 2020|

“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark recommended by Visit England to signal that a business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. Although all the businesses that are open in Topsham are stringently following government guidelines, many have signed up to the additional "We're Good To Go" stamp of approval. The number of businesses involved is growing every day. This initiative, strongly supported by Exeter’s tourism and marketing service, [...]

Topsham’s Big Afternoon Tea – 27th June

By |2020-06-23T14:49:55+01:00June 5th, 2020|

Get ready for the first ever Topsham’s Big Afternoon Tea Saturday 27th June. The idea for the day came from local resident Hilary. With a farming background, Hilary wanted to support local growers who maybe facing a glut of produce such as strawberries this year, but also think about Topsham’s traders who have their own challenges due to COVID-19. With this in mind and following the resounding success of a locked-down VE Day party in Hilary’s street, Topsham’s Big Afternoon Tea was born. The Love Topsham team teamed [...]

A few words from Revd. Louise Grace

By |2020-03-25T22:29:13+00:00March 25th, 2020|

The town with the card

By |2020-01-05T10:18:55+00:00January 3rd, 2020|

We Love Topsham The town with the card Topsham in mid-winter: it’s beautiful, crisp and full of anticipation of the year ahead. Yet I must admit I’m going to miss those beautiful Christmas lights that made the last few weeks of 2019 so wonderful in the town; I miss, too, the throng of people who filled Topsham on that fantastic shopping evening. Those are great memories that will linger until spring when the town will be at its busiest again - and busy, in a good way, [...]
