Living in Topsham2022-06-28T07:08:25+01:00

If you’re reading this page you’re probably already in love with Topsham. We believe it’s one of the most beautiful parts of Devon, and not just because it’s a bustling town boasting fascinating architecture and a busy ever-changing estuary.

Perhaps Topsham’s biggest asset is its people: the residents like you (and us) proud of the town and contributing to it as well.

Whether by shopping locally, running a group, joining in town events, operating a business, or even just sitting back and enjoying the view, you – we – are what makes Topsham special.

Love Topsham celebrates all that, as our mission statement says: Love Topsham operates alongside residents, businesses and local groups to promote and enhance Topsham as a destination, a home town and a workplace.

We are all volunteers and we run this website for the town, send out regular newsletters, and are active throughout the year – including being the people behind Topsham’s spectacular spring and summer hanging baskets, and sparkling Christmas lights.

We would love you to become involved with us – you can find out more here – and if you have any ideas how the Love Topsham volunteers can help the residents, please let us know.

Thanks for visiting!

What’s it to be? A round of Bridge or a game of rugby? Singing in a choir or trying your hand (and arm) at bellringing? Perhaps you might prefer helping out at Topsham Museum or strutting your stuff with an amateur dramatics group?

Topsham has no shortage of groups, clubs and associations with open doors for new members. Whether you want to simply show your support and join the group, or become an active volunteer, then you will find Topsham’s huge and growing numbers of organisations right here.
