Block printing at the Old Fire Station

Mary, aka The Devon Creative, is a certified block print tutor with the Indian Wood Block Print Co. She has been printing fabrics and running workshops for over 8 years and is pleased to be bringing these workshops to The Old Fire Station in Topsham.

Come and enjoy a couple of hours of creating. Switch off from the life admin and find your inner designer. Suitable for absolute beginners, with no expectation to be arty as anyone can do this!

Mary will show you how to print, and which colours work well together. You will practise with the blocks before you are let loose to print your items. Choose from a tote bag, zip make/wash bag or two cork place mats. If there is time at the end you can print gift tags, a postcard or two and a bag to take it all home in!

Wear clothes you don’t mind risking getting fabric paint on but aprons will be provided!
