Topsham Charter Day 2026

This year’s Charter Day will follow its medieval theme with pop-up stalls and a flea market along Fore Street and Children’s Games on St Margaret’s Church Green. The afternoon’s celebrations will start at Matthews Hall at 1pm with a Fancy Dress Competition for adults and children to find the best medieval costune. This will be followed by a parade down Fore Street to St Margaret’s Church where you will find an array of traditional children’s games and entertainment. At 5pm head to Topsham Quay for music and dancing with Ceilidh Band Spinach For Norman, then (if you’re still standing) on to The Globe to watch live band Reckless for a more up-to-date musical offering!
